Deji Tobias proves he has what it takes to be a more complete sprinter
Sprintech`s new track star Deji Tobias proved to his coach, family and friends that he has what it takes to take his sprinting to a different level when he stepped on the track to run in both the 100 and 200 meters at the annual Bedford International Games. His 100 meter time of 10.93, an age group championship best, was ran into a –0.9 meter headwind. But better was to come in the 200 when he ran 21.79 to smash his lifetime best, an achievement that he could of only dreamed of last season. Sprintech Head Coach Simon Duberley remarked “ I am really pleased that Deji has embraced the 200 since he has joined the group. It really bugs me how so many sprinters don't see the correlation between doubling up on the 100 and how it improves and keeps in check an athletes speed endurance. Written by David Maris
